FC2 i386 Net install ?

Hey,
I can't download those 4 Cds for FC2, and i was wondering if i can find a thing like the "sarge netinstall ";
where what is on the cd is only the base system and the installation script, and all the packages are beeing downloaded online from a Fedora mirror.

So,
is there anything like that available ?

With ftp://sunsite.informatik.rwth-aachen.de/pub/Linux/fedora-core/2/i386/os/images/boot.iso (about 6mb) you can make a netinstall.

Before restarting, find a server you want to install it from ! you have to type a path, there is no server to choose !

Alright,
Can you give me a sample path to type on the install ?

something like this?:
ftp://sunsite.informatik.rwth-aachen.de/pub/Linux/fedora-core/2/i386/os/Fedora/

Yes it such a path. :)
But without the Fedora-directory with the capital F. It is the first directory it search for. In every mirror when you see the Fedora (capital F) directory, but don't enter it, that's the path.

Hey again,
The "boot.iso" you gave me has a stupid bug in it .

I enter:
Hostname: ftp.linux.ncsu
Folder: pub/fedora/linux/core/2/i386/os

and he says: "cant find directory: ftp://ftp.linux.ncsu//pub/fedora/linux/core/2/i386/os/

See the Double // ....


where can i find a working netinstall ?

Sorry there is non ftp.linux.ncsu server. And I made my installation with exactly the same image.

sorry my mistake,
its ftp.linux.ncsu.edu

forgot it in the writing of the message, thought i added it in the Net install.

did you use the FTP or HTTP protocol for the net install?

are you sure you didn't add the / before pub ? I once made,that was my mistake.

thought the HTTP works fine.

i will finished the installation in the night when i can download all the RPMs without wasting time.
