Hi,
I just installed core 2 ;) and tried to get my Speedtouch USB Modem working, and got a fatal error :( at the "Module usbcore not found", and i can't find any information about it.
Any suggestions :confused:

I have virtually the same problem (this isnt an AMD machine) - no usbcore found...
$ cat /proc/version
Linux version 2.6.8-1.521 (bhcompile@tweety.build.redhat.com) (gcc version 3.3.3 20040412 (Red Hat Linux 3.3.3-7)) #1 Mon Aug 16 09:01:18 EDT 2004
I am pretty much up-to-date with yum, and cannot find any usb packages that i havnt already installed, i.e.
$ rpm -qa | grep -i usb
usbutils-0.11-4
libusb-0.1.8-2.1
usbview-1.0-11
what gives? :confused:
Thanks

While I don't have either the modem or the problem, I did find this link that might be of use:

You do realize that you responded to a 6 and a half year old post, so yes, the link is probably long gone by now.
Common sense alone would tell you that you may not get results on a link over 6 years old. But to go back and edit or remove links in posts that old would be a very large task, and to request that administrators that volunteer their time and effort to go through checking old links and removing broken ones is ludicrous and just plain stupid. Especially since someone just recently reposted an old broken link which was more useless than the original broken link. :D
