Your nicer then I am, I own several forums now and sold several larger ones last year and if they come up associated with spam emails or ip's I just banned them no questions ask. Spam is such a problem and I have no patience for it.

Since we've played with spammers for years now, we are pretty darned good at figuring out who's who. In this case, our 'member' was banned from a bunch of Forums he'd joined the same day, claiming to be using Macs, Linux and Windows. Just as info, here's his crapola from a site that didn't take him out: http://www.folkd.com/user/ruselrones

Basically, if you say one thing and lie about it in your first post, plus you're a Windows user who is posting gibberish, we're going to have a long, hard look at you.

No, not just because his IP Address does not match his statements. Did you not consult the link provided ? There are other considerations as well, which are not posted here (or anywhere) publicly.

And this is yet another illustration of why sanctions are not explained publicly, nor are discussions allowed. Period.
