Intel is giving our Free license for those who are developing open source application.
I personally use it a lot for my work.

Get it from here http://www.intel.com/software/products/noncom/

Seems to be a bit faster than gcc for some stuff. Larger filesize but that is the tradeoff for faster runtime. Of course only works for intel CPUs.
