Hi,
PackageKit has a command line plugin that is installed by default in Rawhide. If you want to test it, make sure you have it installed
# yum update yum
# yum install PackageKit-command-not-found
type something like
# lxsplit
or
# gstreamer-properties

Hi Rahul,
I'm using Fedora 12 - Beta, I'm trying to use the plugin, but it isn't working at the moment.
[root@Xiphos Nushio]# yum update
Loaded plugins: presto, refresh-packagekit
Setting up Update Process
No Packages marked for Update
[root@Xiphos Nushio]# exit
exit
[Nushio@Xiphos ~]$ rpm -q PackageKit-command-not-found
PackageKit-command-not-found-0.5.3-1.fc12.i686
[Nushio@Xiphos ~]$ lxsplit
Command not found. [Nushio@Xiphos ~]$
I'm using the default CommandNotFound.conf, which I pasted here: http://fpaste.org/wZu2/
Help to make it work's appreciated, and if the "Command not found" inserts a newline after that, I'd appreciate it even more.
Thanks for your time.

Hi,
Known issue. A new PackageKit snapshot on Monday will fix it.

I think it has been available in F11 since some time. (I've got it installed somehow). The packagekit plugin does seem to start searching for whatprovides '/usr/bin/<command>' in case of command not found. A good plugin work i say.
