Fedora 12 Virtual Box

Hi guys,

I'm running Fedora 12 on Virtualbox and I'm having quite a bit of trouble getting the Virtual Box guest additions installed.

I keep getting this message after running the install script:

Verifying archive integrity... All good.
Uncompressing VirtualBox 3.0.4 Guest Additions for Linux installation...................................... .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ..................................
VirtualBox 3.0.4 Guest Additions installation
Please install the build and header files for your current Linux kernel.
The current kernel version is 2.6.31-0.125.4.2.rc5.git2.fc12.x86_64
Problems were found which would prevent the Guest Additions from installing.
Please correct these problems and try again.

I've tried to install every package under the sun... but to no avail. Thanks guys!

I believe you'll need to do

yum install kernel-devel

That should pull in the header and build files that they're mentioning.

Better with dkms installed, too.
