I'm very frustrated right now because I can't figure out how to install the Fedora 12 Alpha? I downloaded it off Bit Torrent like it said to do and it finally gets done. Yes I have a high speed connection, DSL but it still took forever!
I looked in the various folders of the downloaded file but I can't find which one installs the blasted thing? There is Images, ISO Linux, Packages and so forth....
Can someone help me tonight if possible? Thanks in advance!

where did you download the iso image to?
i think bittorrent saves the iso image in the Download folder, for a newb i wouldnt recommend installing a Alpha
1) did you download it in windlows?
2) if answer to 1 is Yes, have a look in your Documents folder an there should be a Downloads folder there, the FC12 iso shoiuld be there
3) then just burn the ISO image with imgburn or nero image burn

Yes I downloaded it in Windows.
I saved it to my usual place for Downloads which is Documents in Windows Vista.
I couldn't find the ISO file at all.
I am now downloading the Fedora 11 version instead, its going much better as far as speed goes for the download.

always stick to a stable one if your a newb. Alpha's can have potential to screw your working Vista partition
