Is rambus memory supported in FC?

My stepson has a 3 year old Dell that we will soon replace. The mobo uses only rambus ram. I was thinking of converting it for exclusive Linux use but I am not sure if it will run on that box. Anybody know - or is there a website that I can check each piece of hardware to see if it is supported? I think it has an old voodoo type 3d video card.
