I have installed it on two of my machines so far.. One is a fresh install, the other an upgrade from Core2..
On the frsh install machine (Toshiba Tecra 8000, Celeron 300, 12mbram, 20G drive):
no usb.. USB mouse and other usb devices are not activated. mouse led does not even come on
networking not working.. pcmcia Xircom card, is recognized, but will not activate. Gives error that the device is busy (same with net card in laptop docking station)
On second machine with the update (Dell CPt laptop, Celeron 333, 256mb, 6G drive):
big issue was the machine wouldnt boot.. Apparently the installer script created the updated grub config with the WRONG filenames... it would give a file not found at bootup.. had to go in with recue disk, go in with a shell and edit the grub.conf to the correct filename..
networking wont start. Using PCMCIA network card (Netgear I think it is).. Worked fine in Core2, but in Core3 it comes up, says something to the effect of "MAC address not what was expected, disabling".. Not at the machines right now to get the exact error msgs.
Will be working on them some more tonight after work and seeing if I can locate the network MAC address error on the Dell first..
Anyone tried to run NDISwrapper on C3T2?? I have a Linksys 54g wifi card that I am planning on trying in the Tecra using the wrapper.. i now it worked under Core2..
