Seven times I was downloading the fedora11 disc1 i386 iso and the sha256 checksum was bad.
When I try ftp.belnet.be mirror I can get the correct checksum.
I understand the copy process between mirrors probably was errors. Becarefull friends.
This bad iso aborts the installation process.

When downloading something via ftp or http even a small hickup in the internet, which happens frequently, can cause a had iso. If you are experiencing problems downloading, try to torrent the iso. The thing with torrents is the torrent client continuously checks the file for bad checksums, and redownloads the small part of the iso that is bad.

It shouldn't get that far, you should check the sha sum before burning the disk. That would have caught the error in the disk.

You are right, I know. Anyway I did it because always the checksum was the same.
It was not correct but it was the same checksum. My fault.
I just want to alert.
Thank You
Marcelo
