When I try to login to my newly created (and updated) FC3T2 using a regular user account, I get the following error message:

The Application "eggcups" has quit unexpectedly.

When I login as root, the error doesn't appear, so I'm assuming it's permissions related, but I've checked all the files and directories with 'eggcups' in the name and can't find any that look wrong. Has anyone seen this before? or have any suggestion on where else to look?

Thanks,
Scott

i've noticed the same problem. it also seems to affect evolution as well. both work fine when logged in as root.

i've also updated everything to the current rawhide, so it must be something there.

well, i narrowed down the eggcups problem to the desktop-printing-0.14.1-1 package, and the evolution problem to libbonoboui-2.8.0.99cvs20040927-1.

downgrading those packages back to the orginal fedora core 3 test 2 versions fixed the problem.
