Notification Icons too large

Is there a way to reduce the size of the icons in the Panel Notification Area?
because right now they are too big, the same height as the panel itself.

go to >preferences >more preferences >icon view defaults change from 100% to 75 or less if you want.

also if you right click on the panel go to properties and change the size of your panel

You want to make the icons in the corner smaller? The update icon and others? Sorry, I don't know how.
