Hiding unwanted icons ?

Want to remove some unwanted icons from my screen but can't seem to figure out the best way.......any suggestions will help greatly.:confused::confused::confused:

That depends on what they are. If you've got a launcher for a program, just right-click on it and then left-click on delete. The default three (Home, Computer, Trash) need to deep digging to unearth, and I suspect you want them anyway.

Hi try yum install gtweakui to remove/change trash/home/computer puts a gui in preferences menu
