So I want to try Fedora (11) without installing it on my hardrive just yet. From what I could understand, it was possible to use Live USB to boot and run fedora (and even save changes with persistent memory) while running it all from your USB drive.

The Live USB creator worked fine, but when I boot up using USB and get to the "welcome to fedora" menu, i'm only given the option to "install", "rescue", "boot from local drive" (which only brings me back to the same screen when I select it) or do a "memtest".

I'm not sure what to do at this point, I was thinking maybe you were supposed to install it on the drive but there's obviously not enough room for it (even with a decent 16 gigs, it's not enough). Any help would be appreciated, and please forgive my newbie ignorance :)

Nvm I found the problem, I was trying to boot from the Installation DVD instead of the Live Media image =/ that's what I get for being lazy and just borrowing my brother's copy.

Mistakes happen. ;)
