A strange problem during update

Hi to all,
I have just done a update successfully using yum(a big thank you to the developers who fixed the problem with the servers regarding the problem updating earlier).

During the installation of packages after yum downloaded them,I get this weird message in between some of them:
/sbin/ldconfig: File /usr/lib/libcares.so.2.0.0 is empty, not checked.
/sbin/ldconfig: File /usr/lib/libcares.so.2 is empty, not checked.

I was wondering if this is a known problem,or am I seem to be the only one experiencing the problem?

I have done a google searh,but that came up with nothing.

Try re-installing package c-ares.

In addition, 'ls -l /usr/lib/libcares.so.2' might give us a better idea what's happening; maybe they're dangling symlinks or something.

Hi guys,
I'm very sorry for the late reply,but I have been a bit busy lately.
I tried typerlc's suggestion by re-installing c-ares and c-ares-devel and after a long wait for the next round of updates at around that time,it has done the trick.
