Hello,
I cant get fedora 11 to work properly as a dualboot so i thought i owuld install it using virtualbox with windows as host.
The problem is everytime i do yum update with rawhide sources enabled it crashes the virtualboxgui
does anyone else have this issue?

So what does the fedora guest logs say/
What does the VBox logs say?
What is the crash symptom? VBox disappears, hangs, fedora guest freezes, yum crashes?
Do you really mean sources? Or just update rpm's?
What arch is each? 32 or 64, is it a newer vt cpu?
Did it ever work in VBox-2.2.4?

Hello,
I start fedora virtual machine, I press alt F2,login as root and type yum update
sometimes it gets all the information about the updates and allows me to press Y to continue starts downloading and then vbox gui crashes. sometimes vbox gui crashes as soon as i type yum update and press enter.
I get a windows dialog saying virtualbox GUI has crashed.
64bit and I do have a CPU that supports VT
Fedora always worked fine with Vbox 2.2.4

VBox 3.0.2 is out as of July 10th.
try that, note the change log. 3.0 is not a polished 2.2.n, it is new code.
buggy F12 and a buggy VBox 3.0.together needs more testing to say which is causing the crash.
Try a CetOS and a Ubuntu 904 LiveCD (in VBoxx) also.
Otherwise fall back to 2.2.4 because it is a more polished code base (to run F12 in).

Hello,
debian squeeze testing works fine in virtualbox and so does kubuntu 9.04.
oops I forgot to say im using 3.02. i updated to that incase that would solve the issue.
Edit: I unticked rawhide and fedora 11 test updates.
i done the standard updates for 11 then just ticked rawhide and no crashes so far.
697 updates to go:P
