but FC3T2 comes with kernel.2.6.8-1.541 so, shouldn't the ntfs kernel have the same numbers. Also, FC3T2 automatically detects ntfs but don't know if it reads it. Output of /etc/fstab

/dev/hda5 /media/idedisk1 ntfs noauto,user,exec,kudzu 0 0
/dev/hda1 /media/idedisk3 ntfs noauto,user,exec,kudzu 0 0

I find it so strange tht it bothers to mount a filesystem the kernel cant actually read...There is a Kernel update already for it, but yum is broken and up2date is garbage as usual, so until I find a way to make yum obey me I can't cee if the new Kernel will answer my prayers. (I highly doubt it will.)

i just noticed that for some reason your kernel is listed under fc2 and not fc3, huh?...check it out: http://linux-ntfs.sourceforge.net/rpm/fedora2.html
