I've been unsuccessful in finding info that specifly says one can upgrade to Fedora from RH9. Or that explains what I should do in prepartion to upgrade if in fact I can

I have Fedora Core 1 burned to a CD

If you can confirm that I can "upgrade" then to could you point me to your references.

Yes, think of it like upgrading to RH10 which FC1 basically is...Just slap your CD in and select upgrade. Of course, do backup any important data beforehand.
