Upgraded Fedora 11 x86_64 to Fedora 12 x86_64 via yumex - 505 packages in 43 minutes. Fixed Firefox with Leigh's xulrunner rpm.
I am running kernel 2.6.31-0.11.rc0.git13.fc12.x86_64, and all of my installed packages are x86_64.
Now yumex is offering me updates for 586 arch - is this normal? I noticed the last update was a noarch for yum and I installed that, but I'm still seeing nothing but 586 updates and 586 packages when I look at "updates" and "available" in yumex.
Is yum broken or is there some problem with the rawhide repo? How do I get back on the x86_64 tracks?
(did not see anything about this on the test list)

This is normal, usually you'll have a 64bit and a 32bit rpm package or other times just 64bit. What would be unusual is only have the 32bit 586 version of the package.
I just noticed in my update just now that yum seems to be catching up, it's installing 586 package updates to match 64 bit ones I already have.

Thanks for the reply, Marko. I will just ignore the i586 updates then. I did not remember this happening with F11 rawhide, but I wasn't there for the beginning.

The rawhide repo is totally screwed up at the moment, there are no 64bit packages at all in the repos :(:(:(

Glad to hear it. I knew something wasn't right with those update/available lists.
