Hi,

at the moment I am using Fedora Core 1 on a notebook HP nx7000. I want to update it
for several reasons. The question I ask myself is the following:

Should I install Fedora core 2 or the test2 version of fedora core 3?

What are the main advantages of fedora core 3?

Thanks for your help!

I you don't plan to provide feedback about bugs, fixes and whatnot, then go with Core2, or wait a month and install Core3. Core3 is not stable, thus the "testing" title given to it.

Fedora Core 3 provide x.org 6.8, gnome 2.8 and KDE 3.3 ... And another coolf stuff (automount of your USB Key, VPN Client, VNC Client/Server in Gnome (vino), SElinux activated etc ...

THe FC3 will be available the 1st November ...

I think it's a good thing to wait 1.5 month :-) If you install FC2 now, i suppose that you ask you the same question (FC3 or FC4 test ??? :-))

Wait a little :-)
