Hi,
something strange happends on my newly installed FC2 system.
I think it's related with a BIOS/Chipset problem, not with kernel or so on, but I hope I'm wrong ( :-)) ).
I have already had this problem also with FC1 and Cluster Knoppix with 2.4.25 kernel.

Platform: dual Xeon 2.0 Ghz, i7505 chipset on Supermicro Motherboard, 2 Gb ram, Radeon 9000, dual e1000 Gbe, dual gdth raid controllers 1 SCSI 1 SATA, 2 R5 volumes working correctly.
BIOS: last available.
BIOS related settings: USB legacy disabled, USB2 enabled.
ACPI: on
Adv. ACPI: on
Keyboard: Logitech Elite keyboard USB with PS/2 adapter.
Mouse: Logitech USB mouse (wheel).

Problem: workstation boots correctly, no kudzu messages, devices are ok, but keyboard works correctly for about 15 minutes, than stops working. Mouse instead works correctly (??).
Solution find: REBOOT (!!!)

Any idea?

Thanks in advance.

There is a bios bug in the i7505 board. A simple solution would be using a ps/2 keyboard and disable the legency usb support, or upgrade to fedora core 3. I have the motherboard i7505 from intel.

If there is a bug do they have a new bios upgrade? We all the money they make they should.
