I am trying to figure out how to get my fan to shut off once and a while. It has been running nonstop since I installed F11

Does the following mean anything? Seems like a bunch of errors but I dont really know what they me or what to do about it.

Yeah, I found that. I was going to try it but I dont fully understand the implications of making a wrong entry or running the wrong script...
How does one undo something in the terminal if you make a mistake?

itll give an error or the command will go through but will have no result. the termial is VERY picky.
