1. Could not install the updates. Got to one of the updates, said it was already updated and stopped the updating at that point. Would not continue. This was running the initial updates before I even installed the system.

2. Could not enter a URL on the Firefox menu. I needed to google it and then select it from the google choices. Then I could go to the website. Once I got to the website the performance was excellent. It was just getting to the website.

3. The install of the Adobe flash so I could look at You Tubes would not take. It would tell me it installed but it didn't.

At this point it is one of those close but no cigar situations. I don't want to install until this gets resolved.

:confused::confused:

A livecd is run from ram and if it is running from a cd and not a usb device with a persistent overlay you will not be able to install any extra packages. A livecd and a liveusb function a bit different whereas the liveusb can have a persistent home and overlay and the livecd not.

that takes care of the updates but what about the problem with Firefox?

I just entered the url for fedoraforums in FF address bar and it worked for me from a fresh liveusb install. Maybe a livecd "bug" but nonetheless FF still works for you just an extra step. :)
