It's actually working pretty well on my Asus 1000HE. There's a core dump on boot, but then it merrily goes on, boots, and runs quite well.

I've really got to look into that one of these days. :)

Some things are clearly more useful than others, some are more clearly offensive than others, some more clearly in jest, etc. I'm strongly inclined to allow scotty38 - a long-time forum member - the benefit of doubt, and a lot of leeway.

Assuming that you are NOT in jest: please allow the forum Staff to make judgements and decisions regarding potentially spurious content, and use the "Report Post" feature to privately report any suspicious activity. If you are in jest: joke's on me, for free this time.

Thanks Vince, it was intended to be just a light-hearted post and maybe so are most of the replies - always hard to tell when you can't see the person doing the typing.

Given that the whole thread doesn't add much to the forum why don't you just go ahead and delete the thing then we can all move on :-)

It is indeed often difficult to determine here the intent of another poster. Humor is, alas! one of those things where people's tastes differ.
