Hello everyone,

I have an ASUS M3N-H/HDMI motherboard. The storage chipset is:

NVIDIA® GeForce 8300
1 xUltraDMA 133/100/66/33
6 xSATA 3 Gb/s ports (Use SATA1-4 for IDE mode.)
NVIDIA® MediaShield™ RAID Support RAID 0,1,0+1,5,JBOD

Anyway, I setup a RAID5 using 4 SATA HDD of 1TB each.
I saw a lot of posts about "bugs" related to so called fakeraid.
Even so, do I have any chance to install Fedora (10) on this setup?

Thank you,
Alin Ilie

I will bet No, but you might get through F11 DVD when it is released.

The performance and reliability differences between fakeraid and the software raid driver are non measurable. I would use the software raid driver since it is proven now for many years.
