Does anyone have a solution, or command line alternative to connect to devices via bluetooth, so they show up in nautilus. I can pair successfully, but when i click connect, nothing happens, but it gets stuck on "Disconnecting..." immediately.

I've gotten the latest updates and this still hapens, if I connect my bluetooth adapter to a VMWare XP vm, I can connect just fine.

Nothing shows up in dmesg or /var/log/messages

Which bluetooth service are you trying to connect to?

I don't know what you mean. I right click the bluetooth icon in the systray, and setup a new device successfully, my phone pops up the passkey dialogue and I get a successful pair.

Then I right click on the bluetooth icon, move to the popout menu for my phone and click "connect", and immediately, if I rightclick and look at the popout menu for my phone it says "Disconnecting..." but greyed out.

I just want to be able to browse files on the phone and hopefully share internet.

I've tried 2 different phones and 2 different BT adapters.

here's what I did trying to connect via commandline:
