Serious Sam - The First Encounter Problems

Hello one and all,

I am trying to install Serious Sam - The First Encounter on on of my Fedora machines. I downloaded the installer from liflg and it seems to have installed fine. When I try running it however it gives me an error:

Also when I try to uninstall it it gives me an error:

Any help would be appreciated. This is my birthday present so I naturally want it to run. :(

But seriously, run ssam_lnx.dynamic in the Bin directory, that works for me. ;)

EDIT: Oops, I have Serious Sam the second encounter, may not be the same fix for the first encounter.

Alternatively, try installing wine, serious sam games run flawlessly under the latest wine (just run setup.exe from the cdrom)

Thank you, got it working running with a launcher using this command:
/usr/local/games/ssamtfe/Bin/ssam_lnx.dynamic

I have not had a chance to really play it yet, mostly because I am busy doing my "homework..." :p
