Hi,

Just got this laptop and am going to install Fedora 11 when the official release comes out. Tried installing Fedora 10 but doesn't work.

Has anyone had any luck installing Fedora 10 on this machine ?

i can't even start the installation of fedora 11. i get an eror after setting up the partitions. it's creepeng me out

I can't get the videocard to work with the proprietary ati driver on any linux distribution

I managed to install fedora 10. with no problems.
you need just tu turn off from the bios the option "system fan always on, on AC power" from the system configuration menu. and it will work

I didn't have any issues with installing fedora 11 but still see some bugs with it. I installed ubuntu904 last night and got the ati driver to work.

I will try to download again the image... perhaps I got it whit an eror.

I want to ask you,

can you please tell me how you managed to install the ati proprietary driver please. I can't make it work ....
