Ok guys, here is my annoyance since Fedora 10 live usb came out:

The "Install to Hard Drive" icon on the Live Usb Fedora 10 gnome desktop,
how do i remove it permanently? or at least hide it? Because every time i delete it,
it comes up after a restart of the OS.

I tried with gconf-editor but i cant find it anywhere.:(

Any tips?
(It's obvious i'm new to this, so please dont make fun of me:cool:)

Thanks again,
Andy Havoc

Have you enabled a persistent home partition on the live usb? It's an option when you run the livecd-iso-to-usb script (--home-size-mb <size>), even on a 1gb stick you can fit a 256mb home.

That way your desktop changes will persist after a reboot

You can also enable a persistent overlay, but it needs to be quite large to be useful.

Unfortunately i used the Live USB creator application to create the the OS in my usb,
since im working in a windows environment,
so i only had the option to set the persistent storage and i set it to 2gb.

And i really do not know how to do those things,

Any info on how to do it, now, without reformatting the usb, will be appreciated.

Thanks,
