This has happened to me twice now, somehow ksnapshot is started in a loop so that I gets dozens and then over a hundred instances of ksnapshot running. Each one at launch make a snap of the desktop.
I think this is happening when I'm doing thing else like moving a window and somehow kde is launching all these.
There's nothing I can do but hold the power button down and power off the machine. C+A+D is useless because the cpu is so busy in this case. If not stopped the system dies by memory exhaustion.
The kde is 4.2.1-2. Luckily kde's doesn't seem to remember those ksnapshots were running
on the next bootup so the swarm of them are not auto started.
