Hello everyone,
i downloaded the dvd to install in a virtual machine.
and i also downloaded the live cd's to test kde and gnome versions on my machine which is currently dual booting fedora 10 with gnome and windows vista.

i hope plymouth plugins work this time.

You may need vga=0x318 at the end, or nouveau.modeset=1 for nvidia 8x or higher.

it does mean that if i install the nvidia blob driver it wont work im assuming?

yep - nvidia proprietary driver doesn't do modesetting yet.

I used nouveau.modeset=1 to no effect. vga=0x318 worked though. Is the Plymouth integrated with the current theme as in Fedora 10?

Also, off topic...I am using the nouveau driver yet I cannot enable Desktop Effects. Do I have to use propietary drivers by way of RPMFusion and disable nouveau drivers?

nouveau are at a very early, stage, and are by far, from perfect, desktop effects don't work yet, however expected by Fedora 21 :-)
