APT for Core 2?

I noticed Freshrpms.net has 2 apt files in their Core 2 folder but after installing them, it says it can't find any packages, even though it clearly lists freshrpms.net as the chief repository...

anybody got this to work yet?

At first:

# apt-get mirror-select

to select the mirrors you want to download from.

thanks, i'll try that. up2date is so slow here at launch it's nearly unusable.

E: Invalid operation mirror-select

Fortunately apt-get update seemed to find packages, so I could get Xine going.

Using the link I listed above, it seems apt-get will work with Core 2, thank goodness.
