Hello, I have an Ibm T20 with an S3 savage graphics card. I would like to get 3d accelaration working on it, but have no idea how to even start since its not nvidia. Any help or how to's would be greatly appreciated. I am using FC 2.

I have been running Fedora on an IBM T21 for a while and one thing you should be sure to set is:
Option "ShadowStatus" in your xorg.conf section under the section for your S3 drivers.
Without this, my laptop frequently froze (required hard reset) whenever I made any significant scrolling (eg. move a gnome-term around the screen really fast). A site to be sure to check out is: http://www.probo.com/timr/savage40.html the driver works in both Fedora Core 1 & 2. After setting that, the problem completely disappeared.
