This tool is really nice. Is there any chance this could end up as a yum installable tool for Fedora? I had to grab it from sourceforge

unlike liveusb-creator in Fedora, it even makes non-live iso files bootable on your usb key (or am I wrong?)

It is not that difficult to install the rpm package. I think it is possible to create non-live image. But its support for some distributor may not be very good. I tried to dump Mandriva 2009 into a USB. But it can only boot into busybox instead of live mode.
For Fedora user the liveusb-creator should be sufficient. But I keeping both. Just in case.

The theory at the time was that since Mandriva was making its own usb key, complete with O/S, and selling it, they made it hard to make it USB bootable. I remember some workarounds for it.
I also remember I had to do a few things to get it working on Fedora at the time, link /lib/udev/vol_id to /usr/bin and linking libaudio.so.0 to libaudio.so.2
However, I agree, it's a very nice tool. The advantage of the livecd-iso-to-disk is that it doesn't require a GUI.
