Tonight, when I try to do anything in Yum, I get rpmfusion errors.
Error: Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: rpmfusion-free-rawhide. Please verify its path and try again
I'm guessing it's distro wide but, just making sure it's not only me.
Thanks

Hi Crainey69. Although you posted this question yesterday I suppose that it's never too late for an attempt at answering. I just installed F11 Alpha on my laptop. Second attempt. First one failed with issues similar to yours. There is another thread in the Alpha section that I am following, http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=217002. There is mention of running yum update rpm upon post install first boot. I did this and seem to be having success now with yum update. Currently downloading 1107 packages at over 1GB. Looks to be working fine. We'll see what happens when I boot again.

Seems to have locked up or stalled. Nothing going on for as long as I could stand to wait (short on patience sometimes). I forced a reboot and am running yum-complete-transaction. Looks as though that may eventually be successful. Time will tell. Meanwhile I'll have a look at Hlingler's link. Thanks Hlingler. I never would have thought to look somewhere outside the Alpha forum

Seems to be a recurring problem with RPMFusion: http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=204459

Hey! You know I didn't search the forum for an answer. If I had then at least 2 things woud have happened. 1, I would have likely found these links and 2, I would be following the advice that I have given so many times, "Please search the forum. This question has been discussed many times here". At any rate, this can't be good, although I do see the words non fatal.
Installing : kernel 100/1597

I didn't think to search either - it was just sitting in "Latest Posts" right there below. :)
About the "non-fatal" error: non-fatal to the RPM update/install, but a failed mkinitrd will cause boot failure of that kernel.

Yep. I was thinking that it may not boot next time around. Got to love the excitement.

works this morning. Must have been a rpmfusion glitch last night.
I've heard several mentions of the problem you're having Glennzo but not had it myself or maybe I did somewhere and forgot about it. I installed Rawhide right before Alpha and have been updating right along with it now to this point with few to no problems.
Took me a while to get nvidia working right but that came down to undoing some of the stuff I had tried myself before following Leighs instructions.
