I have the latest rawhide update as of March 7, so I have:
kdebase-4.2.1-2.fc11.x86_64
kdebase-runtime-4.2.1-1.fc11.x86_64
kernel-2.6.29-0.207.rc7.fc11.x86_64
kde-settings-4.2-4.20090225svn.fc11.noarch
kdelibs-common-4.2.1-4.fc11.x86_64
kdelibs3-3.5.10-9.fc11.x86_64
and so on. The problem is that after I log into KDE4 desktop, the task bar quickly goes unresponsive (kde clock freezes, the kicker doesn't work and all desktop menus quit responding). If I use a terminal and run ps aux | grep defunct
I find that several nepomukserver processes are defunct along with konsole, plasma, and several other minor applets like kalarm that are being started since they were up before.
Now I'm using XFCE instead of kde4 until I can find out if this is a known problem or just my installation.
