Hi, I completed my dvd-burn for Fedora 10..
I booted up from the dvd, and the automatic 10 second installation text shows up..
The setup loads the images, and proceeds to a loading bar... After the loading bar I saw an underscore.

That all I see.. I wait a couple of minutes and I still only see an underscore..
This is my first time trying to install a Unix type O.S.
=/

Are there any commands I need to run for the installation to move forward?
Or is there some type of corruption in the installation?

After booting from the dvd, did you got a screen saying something about testing it? Usually is highly recommended to run the test since the dvd could be corrupted.

After booting from the dvd, did you got a screen saying something about testing it? Usually is highly recommended to run the test since the dvd could be corrupted.

I do not even get any GUI or any text in command prompt..
Only three things happen..
'Automatic Installation Will start in X Seconds'
next...
Command prompt loads the image.
next
loading bar shows up (white bar/light blue bar/dark blue bar and the word Fedora 10"
next
Command prompt with shows up only with a blinking underscore..
Nothing about testing.. I never really even get into the installation.. it only loads/boots the dvd but never goes anywhere. I feel as if it's waiting for me to type 'next' or something :p

So the answer is no, it never asks for anything, it's all automated..

The MD5 checksum is correct : dbd9b064aeda0b01fa11900ca9292cb9

I don't know what but I definetly think something is wrong with your installation dvd. I also installed fc10 from dvd and the process really looked liked as expected!

You would be asked what you want to do rather than start installation ( http://docs.fedoraproject.org/install-guide/f10/en_US/ch-beginninginstallation.html )
...no more ideas here :S

Hmmm.. I read the docs in the link.. I'm wondering
if i did the HTTP or FTP method for the installation..

What should the url be for HTTP?

method=http://server.mydomain.com/directory/

Thanks ;]

But then there's another problem I'm using a wireless pci-card to get internet...
And since I'm a newbie I'm pretty sure I'll have to install the drivers for it to work..
I'm not even sure where to start to install drivers for my wireless adapter..

I'm going to find the USB guide somewhere :P..
I just did it wrong, used a program instead of cmd prompt.
