I just updated to ...git5.fc11 after adding KDE and switchdesk to my system. Now the Siemens AmilioXi2550 does not even boot. Yes, just a blinking underline in the top left of my screen. Here it is now 2:00 in the morning so I am off to bed. In the morning it's time to rescue Microsoft or throw the Puppy at Fedora.
Naturally if anyone hears of or has encountered the same bad news I'd be glad to hear of how we can fix it.

After a good sleep things look much better.

Like always to fix the booting of Fedora:

booted into the Fedora rescue cd -> chrooted into /mnt/sysimage -> grub-install --recheck /dev/sda

Wonder of wonders now the USB problem mentioned in the other Alpha 11 thread has disappeared. Thanks Fedora Team
