Hi all,
I just installed Rawhide (10.9) and after going to Update System it tells me there are 411 updates available. When I click install, nothing happens. Going to Terminal and typing yum update I get this error. I'm logged in as su.
--> Finished Dependency Resolution
glibc-2.9.90-2.i386 from installed has depsolving problems
--> Missing Dependency: glibc-common = 2.9.90-2 is needed by package glibc-2.9.90-2.i386 (installed)
Error: Missing Dependency: glibc-common = 2.9.90-2 is needed by package glibc-2.9.90-2.i386 (installed)
Help please!

It's a known problem. The approved workaround is to download both packages manually from a Rawhide mirror, and install them with rpm -Uvh . Then go ahead and do the Rawhide update.

will doing the rpm -Uvh directly from rawhide as file rpms fix this too?

@marko
I have same problem.
I remove kdelibs3 and after kdelibs-common is normally installed.

That one was also known and should be fixed in current Rawhide, I think. If you don't actually have any apps which need kdelibs3, you can remove it.
