Total time: 2 hours, 10 minutes.

I'm gonna wait until tomorrow to install it though. Also, in case you're curious, I used this mirror:

ftp://mirror.newnanutilities.org/pub/fedora/linux/core/

It's pretty fast; I got download speeds of 340 - 370 kb/s.

Thats pretty decent speed. I have enjoyed FC2 (although haven't had it long) Enjoy it.

The rescue CD is just an emergency boot disk to help you recover your system.

I'm in FC2 now - i can't believe the speed increase from the 2.6 kernel!

I am just now reinstalling it. Kinda messed it up the first time. I am getting ready to turn this machine into a server.

I'm posting from FC2 now - it's great! I love the new GNOME, except the new style for Nautilus, yuck. I'm also using Epiphany, always wanted to try it, it's pretty good.

I downloaded all the iso's at once on Wednesday on a bittorrent and it only took 2 or so hours.

Is it easier to upgrade just by downloading the iso's again or using yum? I havent upgraded yet, thats why im wondering. Iso's would be good back up, but whats the best (in other words less painful) way?
