Monitory type: Unknown then it goes blank

Ok check this out. I got my self Fedora project and i am all happy and stuff then i put it in i test my cd everything seems fine i press enter to install it after i press enter it goes to the checking hardware stuff and it says Monitor Type: Unknown after that everything goes blank. I had read some of those post but nobody says anything fixing your monitor befroe the instalation. what can i do pls help..

What model of monitor do you have?

Try running linux text at the boot: prompt to install in text mode.

i have ibm flat screen 15' but thx i will try that
