Hi
Refer
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/Empathy
Screenshots don't show you much. It looks pretty much the same as in Fedora 10.

I haven't heard any talk of it, and if it wasn't set for the Alpha, it doesn't seem likely.
Their features page is still at 0%, which further suggests that it won't be.

Hi,
Feature freeze is not at Alpha.
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Releases/11/Schedule
I can confirm, it is still the plan.

thanks for the link Rahul but if its not much different from Fedora10's Empathy why are they considering it to be as default now? , most people will just remove it in favor of Pidgin

Hi,
I said visually it won't look much different but a number of issues have been fixed. It has been shown repetitively that most users stick to the defaults in general.

Hi,
For seeing it for yourself, you need to download the alpha image or upgrade to rawhide on a test system.

Hi,
You can still test it under a virtual machine using one of the virtualization solutions.
