clueless

Dear All,
I am not very good at this Linux caper yet, hence the user name. I am starting to understand spaces in directories, but don't yet know what does what.
As an example in my migration from windows I find I have 2 problems the rest "just" works like a charm. That darling Skype.... but that another time. I am sure it will come right. The second is my Wacom Slate. I plugged in my Blue tooth Adapter, connected and that was it, well... not quite. It behaves like I expect except when the tablet shows its connecting with the pen-mouse there is no movement on the screen. as far as I know/understand, it installed 100% but it doesn't work. I haven't a clue where to start. There was a note that read pairing not complete but only on exiting not on installation or attempted usage.
Any Ideas?
Sean
