I have a Lenovo Thinkpad W700 and installing Fedora 10 with GNOME and KDE.
GNOME works --
Immediately after install, if I login as root to GNOME, the Thinkpad keys (such as Fn-F4 for suspend, etc.) behave as expected.
KDE does NOT work --
If I login as root to KDE, the Thinkpad keys act as if they are not being pressed.
Any pointers on how to fire the ACPI events with the Thinkpad keys from KDE 4?
