LAMIP stand for Linux Audio Multiple Interface Player. It's aim to be used as much as your system could. The software is a command line based but could be easy upgrate to a user friendly interface with help of plugin. It could read audio files with input plugin and could output audio data in many ways.

Meet Lamip (http://fondriest.frederic.free.fr/realisations/lamip/index.html)

Here you got (consider it as the first approach to emulate wal support!)

First shot (winamp3 control) (http://www.jotapeges.com/im.php?g=9/&n=1093230711_Pantallazo.png)
Second Shot (gtk control) (http://www.jotapeges.com/im.php?g=9/&n=Pantallazo-1.png)

I think it's a great proyect, and need all the support that it can get! Please visit the forums, and idle on the irc.freenode.net #lamip... No, i'm not part of the proyect, just a .wal lover that was hoping someone to port this to linux...
