Hi All,
I've got Fedora 10 running on my brand new Macbook Pro 15". Got the wireless to work by installing the broadcom-wl driver and udating the kernel. Also have video working with the Beta Nvidia driver...but the trackpad doesn't seem to work for me. It works okay for repositioning the mouse pointer, but tap to click doesn't work, and there's no multi-touch capability (e.g. no 'right button' mouse functionality).
I've tried adding and modifying files in /etc/hal/fdi/policy to no avail. All the guides I've found for Fedora on Macbooks are for older models, and the match keys don't line up with what I see when I run a lshal command.
Checking through the lshal output, I see:
input.product = HID 05ac:820b: which has access_control_type "mouse" and in a seperate udi= entry I see a info.product "USB HID Interface" with a usb.interface.description of "Touchpad".
Trying to load the synaptics driver in the former resulted in no mouse function at all (except if I plug in an external USB one), and trying to load synaptics in the latter did nothing.
Any help would be appreciated....
Cheers
Kris
