Live installation Problem!

My systems:

notebook:hp dv6870ee(cpu core2duo penryn and 3gig ram and 250 sata hd)
pc: (amd athlon 64bit x2 4000+ and 1gig ram and 250,320sata hd)


i downloaded live fedora os form below link:
http://download.fedoraproject.org/pub/fedora/linux/releases/10/Live/i686/F10-i686-Live.iso

1-plz help me about:
x86 , x86 64 , i386 , i686

2- i used live cd in my computers but when i load os
hang it
and stop on background
and not load desktop application

X86_64 is the 64 bits version the rest are 32 bits version.
The 32 bits version should run on 64 Bits machine.
Did you do a media check before running the CD
