Newbies here from Hong Kong, just managed to download the Fedora Core 2 and install it on my laptop. Everything's seems fine (usb microsoft mouse, sound card, video card, monitor type... except MODEM!).
Previously installed SuSE 9.1 Pro, hasn't got such a problem. It even mount my hda1 and my removable USB harddrive for me. Except after I updated, things gone haywire! That's the reason for me to move on FC2 now. Guessed I have to learn from the scratch.
Was reading some previous post about fixing the Lucent Modem, but I don't even know how to "make install".... am reading some books yesterday on Unix Command :o hehehehe....
