Are you trying to install the 64-bit vesion, if so as far as I know the P4 architecture is 32-bit only...

Hi, thanks for your response.

My P4 is 64bits, 3.06GHz, moreover, I'm currently running 2.6.27.5-41.fc9.x86_64.

Yes, you should try to use the X86/X32 architecture disc.

My processor is an X64 but I installed X86/X32 and I see no significant difference.

Try a different monitor - My install was hanging during the Anaconda load (monitor went black, nothing after that). I was using a high res wide screen digital monitor, switched to a 'regular' plain old analog monitor and Anaconda proceded to load and function

Tryed i386: exactly the same results: installation hangs or can not find Fedora DVD...

I'll have to find some old monitor and pray...
