Can't click mouse/trackpad

For some reason my mouse button [randomly] stops working, i.e., I can move the pointer around the screen with the mouse, but I can't select anything. This is also true of the laptop's trackpad, so I don't think it's the mouse. Everything else continues to work, i.e., can use the keyboard to operate the system.

This has happened about half a dozen times since installing Core 10. I'm using a Latitude D630 with the NVidia drivers from Fusion. I have a dual screen setup.

hmm this seems to be happening to a few people here in the forums so far i havent seen a solid fix for this yet.

I'm having same problem on my compaq- usually at startup or after a sleep , occasionally it happens during a session. makes it impossible to use. last couple times it has gone down in conjunction with wireless card also stopping but for now that seems a coincidence.
